Favorite LinksRaleigh is a superb charity. They work on many levels. The main aim is to give young people aged from 17-25 the chance to develop by challenging themselves. Raleigh gives them the chance to do this by sending them on adveturous expeditions overseas. These expeditions benefit the host country greatly as they involve a whole variety of conservation and community projects.
I went to Guyana in South America with Raleigh International and took part in conservation work in the jungle, built a health centre in a remove village, painted a school, constructed a footpath, convinced the Prime Minister to invest in flood protection on an island community....
